The timber used for the farm buildings was harvested and processed in the nearby village of Radein, ensuring local materials and short transport routes. A combination of photovoltaic panels and a heat pump provides heating and cooling with a high degree of energy independence. Battery storage systems make it possible to use the energy generated during the day throughout the night. Guests also have access to charging stations for electric cars and bicycles. Our self-regulating natural swimming pond, which operates without technology or chemical additives, creates a valuable habitat for many plants and animals.
