Enjoy a delicious breakfast in a delightful atmosphere – the perfect way to start the day.
Maria crafts as many products as possible using items from our own farm. The remaining ingredients are sourced from befriended organic farms. Each weekday there are special morning specials such as homemade cakes, egg dishes or savory waffles. Grandma Magdalena actively assists with farm work and manages the service and preparation of your breakfast.
We also offer a bread roll service.

Various products such as fresh fruit and vegetables, fruit spreads, wine, juices and herbal salt can be purchased in our farm shop depending on the season.
Farm tours
Weekly farm tours are conducted through our own fields. These tours aim to give our guests an insight into the daily life of our agricultural operation. A walkthrough includes a visit to the animal stalls, a stroll through the apple orchard, the fruit and vegetable gardens, as well as the herb garden. Depending on the season, the experience is complemented by a small tasting session of homemade products.
Wine tasting
No holiday in Kaltern is complete without tasting the refined juice of the vines. Host Lukas, a graduate engineer in viticulture and oenology, enjoys leading wine tastings where the key steps from vineyard work to wine bottling are explained. Guests can choose whether to exclusively taste Kaltern specialties or explore a variety across the South Tyrolean wine list. Upon request, special themed evenings centered around wine can also be arranged.
Garden tours
Personal and individual garden tours provide a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the garden, its plants and unique features. Maria shares her passion and knowledge, undoubtedly sharing fascinating stories about the world of gardening. You might gather valuable knowledge and inspiration for your own garden at home.
